Scheme Introduction
MEDIA Supports independent European companies with a proven track record that are developing projects to bring into production.
We will cover up to 50% of your eligible development costs up until the first day of principal photography or until the following dates, whichever comes first.
For years Ireland has been very successful at accessing development funding and we aim to continue that trend.
Support is available for the development of Single Projects and a Slate of Projects (3-5 Projects).

Sample Criteria
In order to access development finance you must have the required experience and proven distribution. The following types of project are eligible under this scheme

Eligibility Criteria
As you would expect; the eligibility for Single applications is less rigorous than for Slate support:

HOW TO APPLY
CALL FOR PROPOSALS EACEA N° 21/2011
(Support for the development of dramas, animations and creative documentaries- Single Project Funding)
1st Deadline: 25/11/11 (Expired)
2nd Deadline: 13/04/12 (Expired)
Applications must be submitted online by 12h CET (11am Irish time) on the day of the relevant Deadline. A signed paper application package with necessary annexes must also be sent by registered mail or a private courier respecting the same deadline.
