Overview of Scheme
MEDIA are keen to support festivals which promote, exhibit and encourage European works.
With a floor of €10,000 and a ceiling of €75,000; we will support up to 50% of your costs, including items such as Equipment Hire, Transport Costs, Insurance Costs, Advertising Costs and Subtitling.
In Ireland, the Cork Film Festival has been a longstanding recipient of festival support.
Eligibility Overview
If you are an Irish private company, non-profit organisation, association, charity, foundation, or Town Council and your festival takes place in Ireland or any of the following countries, this is the scheme for you:
Croatia, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway and Switzerland or and other MEDIA country.
At least 70% of your entire programme needs to be European and this European programming must represent at least 10 countries participating in the MEDIA Programme.
