Welcome to the homepage of MEDIA Desk Ireland
MEDIA Desk Ireland is the Irish Desk of the European Union's MEDIA Programme, the EU support programme for the European audiovisual industry, and we work to promote and administer this programme in Ireland.
The MEDIA 2007 programme (2007-2013) is the fourth multi-annual programme since 1991 and has a budget of €755 million.
So far in the MEDIA 2007 programme, €7m has already been awarded to Irish Companies. A review of this funding is available here...
During the last cycle, MEDIA Plus (2001 - 2006), we helped Irish Companies access over €9.53m in Support. These funding awards are detailed in the Review of the MEDIA Plus Programme which can also be downloaded from here...
Since 1992 our offices have been located in the heart of Dublin’s cultural quarter, Temple Bar.
Also since 1992 Siobhan O’Donoghue has acted as the Chief Executive Officer in Ireland.
